Thread Meddle Outfit is the choreographic collaboration between Christine Betsill and Johannah Wininsky. Their goal is to create dances that provoke deep questions about the body and it‘s powerful role in our culture, as well as to present the audience and community with innovative contemporary dance. They continue to collaborate with artists from Chicago, New York and Chile in order to cultivate an international dialogue about contemporary dance. Their work has been shown though out Chicago, Champaign-Urbana, IL, Louisville, KY, Cincinnatti, OH, Quito, Ecuador, and Santiago, Chile. They have received several Community Arts Assistance Program Grants from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council.
